Attatched is a shot of 2 of my Honeycrisp Apples. they will be ready to pick in a months time I feel. they are about a month ahead of normal. I think this is due to the heat and sunshine I've had this spring an summer. That's cool by me. I thinned the crop recently due to the branches sagging heavily to about 40 or so apples. I removed 2 dozen. So it's still a plentiful crop for me. It will stay this way. next year I will thin the crop out earlier if it warrants. the Haralred has 5 apples that are starting to turn red finally. Those will be ready in about 2 months or so. Thanks for letting me share this here as usual.

My oldest grandson wants some for himself his mom and his brother also. He didn't get any last year. He is excited to get at picking them as much as I am. So half are probably going home with him. That leaves a few for my wife and I. Not enough to bake with I think. Next year there ALL MINE. All mine. HAHAHAHA!!

Wow, after watching your picture of the apples my mouth starts to water. It really looks delicious! I am very fond of apple pie and I never forget to order one if I go to Mc Donalds. I am sure your wife is an expert in recipes which uses apples, because you have your own apples in your own land just near your house. I bet it must be a good feeling having productive fruit trees such as the apple tree. Here we grow fruit trees too but we have tropical fruit trees. Our climate is hot and humid. We have rambutans, durians, jackfruit, lemon, bananas, mangosteen and some others that I don't know how to call them in English. Anyway, have a nice day and when it is time to pick up your apples, please don't forget me. Lol.

They are beautiful ooking apples Bob. You have quite a nice size crop too. I don't think I should give you any more apple recipes, as I think I have done enough of that.
I viewed your photo, rated it & wrote a comment.
Pity the coddling moths & dogs get to my apples.

I will wait a month or so before I eat any apples as I can pick my own. Here's a photo of one of my Haralreds also. I've never tasted this variety of apple. Was told by the nursery this is a Minnesota propagated apple and it started here in Minnesita at the University Of Minnesota and is now widespread throughout the states.
