What are your cats afraid of? Anything weird?

Darla hides under the couch when it thunders or rains especially hard. I don't know why under the couch is somehow safer than the basement, but I guess it is. Grace so far appears to fear nothing, although she strongly dislikes jumping over the new baby gate we put up to keep her canine sister out. She's much prefer I just stand there and open and shut it at her whim. And Loki...is afraid of green vegetables. Namely zucchini. The cat is scared to death of renegade squash...

My one cat is afraid of everything. She's a big baby. If you look at her wrong or move too quickly around her she will run away. She also hates the vacuum, storms, basically anything that makes noise. Oh and she hates kids. If a kid comes over she freaks out and runs down to the basement.
Our other cat is hardly afraid of anything. She's been around big dogs, kids, the vacuum, you name it she's not scared of it. Except anything that buzzes. If the buzzer on the dryer or the stove sound she flips out and runs away.

Your two cats Darla and Grace sound exactly like mine. Kissy, my female grey tiger striped cat is terrified of the rain..as soon as she hears even the slightest splatter of rain forget about it..and thunderstorms?? She ducks under my bed. Now on the other hand, my Pyewacket, my black male cat isn't phased at all by storms. My Kissy will also hide under the bed when someone rings my bell, while Pyewacket stays put and its as if he's greeting whoever comes--strange how opposite their personalities are

Loki and Grace are a bit reserved around houseguests-not sure what to make of them. Let in a cable repairman, on the other hand, and Darla is in love!
??? We've had her since she was just weeks old, so I don't know what to make of that!

My cat is pretty fierce, she attacked pitbulls and Rottweilers,it seems she cannot stand dogs. But apparently she is afraid of kittens she hisses and she spits at them and makes a complete spectacle of herself. The kitten next door has her completely cowed and is getting ridiculous about it. That kitten chases her into the house all the time!

That's hilarious! Thanks for sharing! I wonder what the dogs think when they see that?

My Columbus cat, who is 10 going on 11 years in September, is not afraid of anything or anyone. He greets all strangers who come to my home and practically begs to be petted. On the other hand, my Waffles cat, who is nearly 3 years old, runs and hides from people and thunderstorms. She even runs away from me when I reach down and try to pick her up and hold her.

Balloons.
I blew some up for my partner's birthday and they fled from the lounge as soon as they saw them and still won't go near them!

Loki used to love balloons-especially the foil helium ones. He used to carry them aound the house by their strings. Now I think all 4 of my fuzzy kids'd be terrified...

I have 3 cats one is the bravest cat ever. She doesnt afraid of anything . One of my cats ( Hiper ) only scares from rustling sound of a plastic bag. He hides for hours. But my other ( Topik ) cats scares from everything even his own shadow. So we believed that he has a panic attack. Since then we are trying to be very carefull while approaching him. We have to walk silent if he is sleeping or dont run towards him. Or raise our volumes next to him. Because if one of these happens he opens his eyes wide open and start to run since he is so fat he cant move away so far. When we find him we feel his heart beats out of his chest. I love my cats....
