Sassy, Nino, Mitten, Shooting Star - Star, Rio, Timus, Taj, Chevron - Ronnie, Gabrielle - Gabby, Gizmo, Ping & Pong, Solo, Rygel, Oliver, Booboo, Cookie, Pearl, Lydia, Scamp, Chalube. Kit, Serena, Rock Star -Rocky, Tuti and Nefer. The last 7 came with their names. We named Chevron (Ronnie) after the gas station we trapped her at.
As you can see, we sort of mix the names with human names & other names.
We've taken to "thematically" naming litters of kittens. Ping & Pong were "chinese" themed. Rygel was "star" themed - yes I know the star name is spelled Rigel, but we named him after the Farscape muppet. Because Rockstar - Rocky came with her name, we named her 2 kittens Boris & Natasha. Solo was an "only" kitten & Oliver was an "orphan" kitten. Pearl was a name recommended by the roomie's mom & Lydia was another one shot kitten.

I haven't, but my sister did, when we lived with our parents many years ago. My sister actually named one of her cats "Puppy." She should have known that she was setting herself up for my joking about that name. But the name somehow stuck. To this day, we both fondly recall "Puppy" as being happy and very much alive on the Other Side.

The family cat when I was a kid my mother named Kitzy Katz. Her daughter's name was Angel.
My cats were, Toni Lee, Tabitha and Tony's son was Brandon. They were all my kids so I gave them all human names.
