I have got a 2MBps connection and download is at about 256 Kbps at just around $15. The speed goes up and down at times, bit down at peek hours and really high surpassing even 2MBps during night. So thats a lot better than paying $40, it all depends on your location though. My internet service providers are looking to upgrade their connection speeds even further than 2MBps, that would be really good.

Maybe Internet in every home is still making a climb upwards. Once the numbers of subscribers increase i think the price will get cheaper there as well. Still $ 40 isn't too much, its quite good enough for a fast 2 MBps connection.

My connection speed is 100.00 Mbps. I use ADSL connection and Streamyx for the speed. The speed is okay but I hope it can be faster. During peak hours I will experience a slower pace and it makes me impatient. The best time is early in the morning where not many people is yet to open the internet. I can complete my job faster and maintain my good mood. I pay monthly for this, and it costs me MYR68 per month. Quite cheap, I think. I can open the internet non stop for one month with the same charges.

Hello there, I'm staying in Singapore and I'm subscribed to Singnet. I'm paying 40 dollars for 3MBps connection. Which is roughly 27-28 usd.
My download speed is around 400kb/sec max at the moment and I'm pretty happy with it =).
