Do you watch the news?

Every day people tell me how horrible what they see on the news is like. I don't watch or pay much attention. My standard response is news is what is out of the ordinary. How horrible if they had to report on good stuff all the time. What kind of world would we live in then. In fact, I also tell them more people were not murdered than were. Do you watch the news? Are you horrified by it?
