I dont get it, i've been a member for a week now and almost every comment is negative. Why is this? People should be supporting and be posative about responding, even though they dont agree. Thats the problem with people commenting. MyLot isnt only about making money, it also tests typing, consistancy, and communication. Its not all about making money. I think poeple should realize this.
So here's the question.
Is it right to say negative things when commenting? Should People try to be more open minded? And What do you think is the best way to do so?

people in this site have diff cultures and beliefs, diff opinions, raised differently and think differently. So put the negatives on the trash and treasure the good ones. There are a lot of angels here than fallen one, just dont get frustrated and enjoy your day!

It depends on what you are posting. Surely you do not expect everyone to agree with what you say. For instance, suppose you say that women should go to work and men should stay home and I say, women should stay home and men should go to work. Am I to agree with you? Then lets see a different argument. Supposing someone says that ever religion except Christianity can post the tenets of their beliefs in public buildings. Someone says that is not right, that Christians should post their beliefs on a public building. Do you mean to say that they have to agree with you? And suppose someone posts an outward lie, like saying, Hitler took over South America, and someone writes and says, 'That is ridiculous. Hitler took over most of Europe.' So open-minded is not right in these cases.

I dont think you realize what this conversation is about. You can dissagree but still look at it in a posative matter. No matter what. People have the right to voice their opinion, but is most likely catching and have better odds of teaching that the negative would.

i don't want to jump into conclusion whether they are wrong or you are right, until such time i could see and read what they wrote. being open minded is you also have to look and evaluate the other side of the coin, even you don't like it but somehow there's a point they would like to imply yet some people would be offended on the way they are trying to convey it. that is the problem when you are writing and not talking to the person. you cannot fully convey the emotions you wanted to lay down and reach the other side.
i usually clarify it before going into the battle if i should but that is just a waste of time and often times i just ignore them unless it is just way below the belt.
