Does your watch run fast, on time or slow?

All my life every watch I have ever had has run fast. All of them whether wind, self-wind or electronic have gained time when I wore them. In one way this is good since I hate to be late but it can make me early which sometimes is awkward. I can understand why the wind and self-wind ones might gain time, but understanding why the eletronic ones do is hard to find a reason. I can set them back to the correct time and slowly they will gain time and keep gaing if I don't reset them occasionaly. What happens with your watches?

lol sounds like you have a Timex. I won't buy those anymore for the fact they kept doing stuff like that to me after a few months of having them. Kinda strange though as I used to have that brand before maybe 5 or 6 years ago and they'd last me for years on the original battery.

I had tried various types of watches before. Decades ago I did use the wind and the self-wind but they were not so convenient. The wind always stopped as I forgot to wind them up very ofter lol. As the self-wind needed much mechanical movement or agitation it stopped quite often too because it was not used for certain period. These two watches were not accurate, either fast or slow. I think mainly depends on the energy stored.
At present I'm using the electronic watch which is much more convenient as it needs less care and attention. I just have to replace the battery in time regularly.

I never forgot to wind the wind ones and probably did it too often which thought was why it ran fast. Then I had the self wind and tought it gaind time because I was always in motion. Since then I have had several electronic ones and all of them have gained time also, so I can only conclude that it is something about me.
