space shuttles and the ozone.....

So you think that a shuttle every 3 or 4 months if even that often is going to be a drop in a bucket compared to the thousands of airplane flights a day? Or compared to the millions of miles traveled by cars a day? One volcano erupting can do more pollution than all those together in a year. The shuttle's effect on the ozone layer is neglegible compared to other sources. Space exploration including the shuttle goes a lot farther toward providing information to help solve the ozone layer problem than it harms it. Actually the whole future of the human race depends upon space exploration and since not enough is being done while we still have the resourches to do it, I hold little hope for the species or any species on Earth beyond a few thousand more years if even that.

I never thought about that before and great post btw! I think that most deff that has got to be bad for our ozone and whatever else..it sure in heck cant be good!! the only good i see is what another person said in exploring the solar system..our planet is soo bad..they need to find another home for us..and im sure you didnt mean that the rockeys are the only thing harming our planet you were just adding it..right? anywho..yes there are many thing we are doing wrong..and did wrong..and so many things we shouldnt do..and mother nature seems to be helping in harming earth,..but yea deff its harming us too..and whats worse..i think the end is near..so we better find a new home fast..for our children and theer children..have a good one!
