Do you usually put them in the freeze and eat them the next following day? Or Do you instanly through them away? Since I stay alone I usually have lots of leftovers. Sometimes I store them for the next time and eat it before it gets worse and sometimes I just throw away. What about you?

there are some leftovers that can be recooked and most of them would taste good but there are also leftovers that gets pretty nasty smell and taste so i usually gave it to a stray dog. i don't like throwing things when it could be useful for someone / something.

I don't like to throw food away, so usually I cook portion-controlled servings of the main course dishes and then fill out the meal with side-dishes that do not require special handling. That way, nobody goes hungry, but there aren't any leftovers in the traditional sense. For example, tonight I served salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans, all in pre-measured servings on each plate, but on the table I put a big bowl of pineapple and a little jelled cranberry sauce.

I save them for a couple of days, then once a week I have left over night. Everyone get's to pic an choose what they want and I don't have to cook a meal.

Sadly, we don't just throw foods here because of the high price we pay for it when buying them on markets. Most of the times, we cook and turn it into something new. We cook it on a different recipe, to have a different taste and make good use of whatever we can add while cooking it. We can make them into stew, fried, or with soup, just as long as it can be consumed. We only throw it whenever the smell and taste is already not that desirable to eat, we either throw it on garbage or make it as a compost..

leftovers, if it was a day old and it is still "edibly" ok, then i go for it but usually , it must not be thrown out because it can still be recycled, unless you do not know how to cook. a simple recycling cooking will do and wil eventually make your pallate savour something new.
