May-December Love Affair

When we say May-December Love Affair, we are actually referring to a relationship where the man is way older than the woman or the woman is way older than the man. There are those who would frown upon this kind of relationship but others just accept it as is. I, personally, don't have anything against this kind of relationship. As long as the couple truly love each other then I don't see any problem. I have never been in a May-December love affair...
How about you? Are you in such a relationship? Have you been in a May-December love affair? Do you think you will ever be in one? What are your views about this?

my beb is 8 years older than me.. love isnt age for the matter, yes we do have arguments, we have petty probs.. but its part of the so-called relationship.. its part of the foundation.. yes i agree to what youve said, as long as we love each other theres no hindrance in any way.. i think of it as a process.. i expect alot of misunderstandings, so when we do, we talk about it.. there are times when we're really screwed up but still love is there, so age wont really matter so long as you talk things over..

I am not into such a May-December love affair, but I have a neighbour uncle who is in this kind of situation. He got divorced with his ex-wife and is married to another lady who is much younger than him, twenty years younger. Their relationship is good, but his son is against him for that, the main reason of which is that he has now got a baby boy after their new marriage. The baby is now about five months old, younger than his grandson. His son is certainly not happy for his having another stepbrother. I am not against this, but I think that maybe it is a good idea to just get married without another child.

If the male is five years older than female, thats regarded as compatible couples. Whereas I have witnessed may-december relations are 100% successful. I am just five years older than my partner.
