what does it mean when a guy cries because of a girl?

i was watching this series "meteor garden" , as i was watching this certain episode... Dao Ming (the guy actor) was looking at the girl he loves who is at the same time in-love with another guy, as he was watching SanChai from afar he cried..... isn't that sweet??....
so if a guy cries for a certain girl, thats that mean he's madly in-love with her?....
or just to make the girl believe he does?
what do you think?

Hey there, i can't say that i am familiar with that series, but when a guy cries for a girl he is definitly madly in love. Most guys are ashamed to cry, so if they cry it's a serious deal.
