All mylife been dreaming to have my own kid. i want to give him all the best that i can,,until i found out that my boyfriend have a prostate cancern and he just had his operation a week ago..one of the side effects of that operation is he might not be able to have a child..i love him so dearly and i dont want us that thing make us a part so i'm willing to give up my dream of having a kid instead of loosing him..

Yes i think you are doing the right thing, and there are other ways of having a child, adoption being the best option as there are thousands of abandoned children who would love a good home. Also you never know he may well be able to have children, even if you need ivf.

I think thats a very wise choice. Cheer up though, you can always adopt a child, and who knows yall might get lucky and have your actual wish come true. Hang in there Meg :-)
