If your son raped another person and he asks you to help him hide from the authorities, will you help him hide or will you surrender him to the police?

Hi there what's up?
Well, this discussion of yours is kinda interesting and yet a tough one though.
I don't have a son yet, but i don't really like that to happen on me or to my son in the future.
I will just make sure that i will raise my child with good values and guide him the best way that i can.
But ifever, it happened on me, well it would be so hard for me i think to accept what my son did and it even it would be hard for me to surrender him to the police, i will do that.
I am not going to tolerate what he have done, but i will still support my son by providing an attorney and help him out of the case.
That's all i can do i think, i will not hide him and make his life miserable by hiding for the rest of his life.
I will also surrender everything to God for sure and let God what is the roght thing to do even it's painful.
Have a nice day ahead and happy posting and earning here in myLot buddy!
Ciao,
Kiko

No do not surrender him to the Police, but talk to him and explain him why his action was not good and decent. If you handle him with care thats be good rather than with force.

I don't know, this is very tough challenge. Maybe for the meantime i will hide my son, and when the right times and when we have a lawyear i will surrender him to the police.

Even though I would love my son no matter what happens. I would turn him in. While it would be the hardest thing a father would have to do, it would be the right thing.
Because the fact of the matter is that someone was raped and trauamtized, wheres the personal responsibility?. When someone has raped somebody its obvious that they have undisclosed issues. By turing him in, he can get the help he needs, and when he gets out the problem will be better if not gone. Just because your child is in jail does not mean you stop loving him or her either.

I could not even thing of such an violent act, epsecially form my son I have always reaised him wih the up most of values and would never find him to be guilty of such a thing. That is why I would have to turn him in if he did, what kind of example would I be setting for him and his brother if i was to just sit idely by and let him get away with it.

It's a difficlty discussion.
I am not merried and ofcorse don't have a child, But I would say if my son does this, I would turn him in. He has the ability to do it, he also should have the ability to be responsable to what he does.
Surely I would not let things like this happen. Hehe, it's just my short sight...
