She spent 5 hours in the hospital with her mother and the police who took the story, and the girl was given over 11 medications to prevent her from getting infections and STD's. The girl also wounded herself on both inner thighs by rubbing salt and an ice cube to the skin, which left large burn marks and claimed the 18 year old boy harmed her. A woman from the Rape Crisis Center came in and took DNA samples. The detective on the case was able to find the boy and bring him in, and the boy agreed to have his DNA taken, but denied any of the allegations. It was consentual and also included another teenage girl, a 3some. The girl with bipolar was not medicated at the time but now is taking Abilify for her bipolar disorder. She hasn't been medicated in 3 years. The mother was warned she would get a letter for a court date and her daughter would probably be put on probation for knowingly giving false information to 2 police officers with the intent to implicate the boy for the crime of rape, knowing the crime didn't occur. The detective recommends the girl should get treatment, supervision or rehabilitation along with probation. A court date has been set for August 13 and they're allowed to apply for a public defender.
