Who is the first person that you call?

Today I got a call from my boss. She had called to tell me that I got a pay increase at the beginning of the month and to expect to see the increase on my next check. Yay! That's great news!
I called my husband and then I called my mom to tell them the good news.
So who is the first person that you call when you get great news that you just can't keep to yourself?

Depending on the news, either my sister or my husband. Great news to me is a bit different than it is to him so my husband may not get why I am excited. My sister is the one I immediately think of and call when something happens - good or bad.
But if the news pertained to something about us as a couple, of course I would call my husband and then my sister. lol.

That's a great point. What I consider great news is not necessarily great news to my husband. So I guess it depends on what the great news is.

when i had a boyfriend i used to call him but now i call my mother when i hear any good news and today i called my friend

I would call my sister, Jodi to tell he good news first. Then I would call my mom. They both like me to share great news with them.

Whoo hoo, more LUSH and makeup for you!
I usually call my husband but it really depends on the news. If it is something he is clueless about (He is really clueless about my internet stuff), I would call my sister who knows more about my life online.
But real good news would go to the hubby first then my sister. Maybe even my kids if I felt they would know what I was talking about (I swear, I am like a Martian around here!).
A pay raise would be the hubby then the sister.

Oh I knew I answered this before. I kept thinking this was so familiar. DUH.
I was going through my friends list and answering some discussions.
At this point, the saying "Never mind" comes to mind.

Great news.
When ever I get a good news i first call my Mom then my Dad, after that (my Sister's husband)my brother- in- law...
then to all my nears and dears.

Well I used to call my daughter first, but now we live togehter with my 3 grandkids, so I would tell her when she got home, mean time I would bleep my son on his phone and tell him lol. But first I tell my mom , dad & husband in heaven. Cause I know they are always watching over me.

Hey Buggheart,
You are really lucky, Congratulations !!! for that hike in your package.
How I hope my boss will call me and tell me that he has increased my pay pack, I will be totally elated if that happens.
It is so happy to hear such news.
