Anyone trying to get social security disability?

Hello.. I have been trying to get social security disability for 4 years now and still denied. I have been through all the hoops they put you through and still waiting. I hired a lawyer and went to a hearing and it looked good I thought and my lawyer did too..but denied. I have a very bad back and had surgery on it back in 2003 and it still is very much bad. My doctor and surgen say that it will get worse due to degenrative disk diease and just don't get why I am denied.

It took me five years to get on disability. I don't think I can tell you anything you don't know, but just in case I'll tell you that is helps to have every document of every doctor you have ever seen. Go to as many doctor appointments as you need and can afford. They like paper trails and they really want to know you are ill. An idiot would be able to see that, but then again, we're talking about the government. I wish you the best of luck!
