Neighbors

Are your neighbors mean or nice? Do they even bother with you, say hello, offer to collect your mail for you while on vacation?
Most of the people on in my small community (117 homes) are nice with the exception of one particular family whom we have been having problems with since May.
They are moving away thank goodness. They live on my block and I have been trying to avoid seeing them as much as I can.
One of our others neighbors, she was really nice, she held our mail for us while we were away visiting Myrtle Beach.
I do have to say this is the best neighborhood I have lived in in my adult life.
People invite you over to hang out, they have parties at their homes and they invite everyone on the block.
One of my neigbhors even holds movie nights. She has one of those blow up screens.
She is very nice.
If I have a problem with someone elses child, I can go to them and they take care of it.
I have neighbors kids over here playing every night and the other neighbors watch my kids over their house.
Thank goodness for good neighbors!

SeaBeauty, I love both of my next door neighbors! I spent the last 2 weeks taking care of Nancy's 4 cats. One of them stays in the house all of the time.
One of them can only come in at night.
One of them can only come in during the day.
One of them is only allowed in for a few hours during the day.
June, in the house on the other side, is 84 years old and still gets up every day and puts on full make up, including false eyelashes, and has the most wonderful stories to tell. ~Donna

(I am saying this with a loving chuckle) Sometimes she doesn't get the eyelashes on too straight and it looks as though there are 2 spiders sitting atop her eyes; but I talked with her a few days ago and she was wearing a pair of shorts and not 1 bit of cellulite on her legs! I am sooooo jealous ~Donna

My neighbors are ok. One of my neighbors are always fighting with someone though...it can get pretty annoying. Other than that they are ok...much better than the last neighbors I had at my previous house. I'm the type of person that just keep to myself.

sometimes its better that way to keep to yourself. I am finding the more i get to know the neighbors the more i dont like them.
