Oh yes....several times.
1): While at work a tornado was heading in the general direction of the town I lived in. I
began driving home and found the intense rain was moving so fast I couldn't keep up with
it. When I got home all was well in our neighborhood but a major part of the town was
gone.
2): Another town and house. Tornado was coming in our general direction. Took our pets
and got out of the way. Fortunately it did not stay down long enough to come our way.
3): While at a restaurant we got a call that a tornado had done damage just east of our
town. That is where we lived.
Rushed home to find the tornado had gone through only 2 miles south of us so did no
damage to us. Thank God.
There have been many more over the years but never this close.
They are not fun. I am glad they did not hit you. And yes it is very scary.
