is going to abroad a solution to poverty?

i've heard lots of college students saying when they'll graduate they'll work abroad because they have no future here in the philippines....
so is going to another country the right choice to save family and future from poverty?

Well, for some people.. YES! its their only way to earn money to provide for their family. Countries outside the Philippines give higher salaries than in the Philippines. I'm a college student and my course is not nursing by the way. :) Anyway, you are right about most students saying that they will go abroad and work.. but its not even a sure thing if they will be qualified to work abroad.. for nursing students, they still have to take board exams, medical exams, etc... just for an application to get a visa.. In my case, I don't have plans of the moment to go abroad and work.. I think I still have some future in the Philippines.
