But the lab analysis and expert doctor's report says:
Hone contains 80% of sugars, 16 percent water, dextrin, gums,
4 percent includes all types of flavouring, atomatic substances and a negligble quantity of vitamins. There is no mention of any minerals. According to the journal of American Medical Association, "there is no therpeutic value peculiar or specific only to itslef"
Therefore our belief that honey is anti-septic, honey is highly nutritious is a fallacy I suppose. No doubt like any other liquid food ingredient (or food itself) hone is very useful and delightful item. What do you say?

What u have said is partly true with the honey available on commercial scale. What we get in market generally has added sugar n flavours. It has some less medicinal values. But, as per I know, its not the case with the Ayurved Siddha Honey. It has many medicinal values.

Honey is prepared under various environment like wild forest honey, soapnut flower-nectar based honey, in cities one can see the bees nest in big buildings, many people keep bee boxes in their agricultural lands. May be some are very useful, some are quite useful and some may be just like any other product we produce.

The food of John the Baptist in the New Testament were only locusts and honey and he survived, no health problem whatsoever. Then God gave to the Israelites the land He promised which are flowing with milk and honey. I believe that honey is second to milk - a complete food.

I was under the impression it was one of the best home medicine readily available. After reading your discussion, I have to recheck with some of my honey loving friends.

Next to virgin coconut oil, i love honey also. I don't know, but these days, honey became one of vitamins, and healthy skin ingredients. Many people buy honey and make it their vitamins and part of their beauty regimen. I also do that do, and i also drink honey mild syrup.

As a Food Major , I always heard from my Professor that Honey would do a lot of good to the body and could perfect people's skin etc. Even the data you provided above couldn't mean that Honey does not any good to the Body. Too much sugars must it have, but I doubt which kind of Sugar it is, it must not be the normal sugar that we could get from the
Sugarcane. You know, the Bees make the Honey by spending quite some effort here from different kinds flowers. Though it doubts that the Honey does good to Diabetes Patient as well...
Anyway, from our grandparents' experience, people who raise the Bees and drink the Honey often are in better condition than those who don't.:)
