Yeah thats true, you cant truly know the person until you meet them, but is it possible to fall for the person they protray themselves as, and to feel that strong sense of love inside yourself do you think?
Or maybe you are just falling in love with a creation of your own mind of the perfect person you see them to be

I beg to differ. I think it can lead to an acutal relationship. It seems odd, but it really works out. I have a friend who met someone onine and they remained online friends for about a year.
They now meet inperson and are getting married soon. They really like each other, and seem to be very content with each other. I think it is mainly because they were not acting, they came out real when they met online and remained real.
They are happy with each other and it is awesome to see them walk hand-in-hand at the shopping malls.

I agree with cetamol, you can't fall in love with someone until you really know them. Actually, the majority of people on the net portray themselves in a somewhat perfect way, they pretend. But there is a good number of people who don't do that, they come out as they are.
So, it ends up being a gample to truly fall inlove with someone onthe internet.

I think it is possible. I had an experience before and I re-examined myself and found that it was nothing like obsession, infatuation nor lust. We just became very good online friends. It took time, and very funny enough, we slowly fell in love. It was something that culminated out of an online friendship. I will not go further than this. But the point is: it is possible to fall in love online. It all depends on how much you interact.

Oh yes they do. But I think online love and similar relationships have received negative "publicity" or opinions mainly owing to some "bad players". There are, understandably, a good number of people who resort to online relationships for cheating and just having funny by having multiple partners. Others want to toy around with people's heartstrings. And that is bad.
