Do you shampoo your hair everyday?

hello livvy092002, i don't shampoo my hair daily.i have got long hair and it tends to get dirty and greasy most often.but that doesn't matter to me as long as my hair is in good condition.as you said shampooing most often kills moisture from hair.so thats what keeps me away from shampooing daily.i do it once in a week. and i have used conditioners but it is not suiting my hair.my hair starts falling whenever i put on conditioner.so i am using an afterwash lotion.and i avoid oiling my hair daily.i put oil the day before i had to shampoo.i keep it overnight.so that way my hair looks fine the whole week.and ikeep applying the hair lotion in between if i find that the texture is changing or its getting dull.

yes, I have to shampoo daily. If I don't it get oily and very limp and nothing can be done with my hair. I do wish I was one of those people that can go every other day, it would save so much time.

Yes, I do shampoo my hair everyday. If not, my hair becomes greasy and I feel extremely uncomfortable. Perhaps you can try using a mild shampoo or one that's for dry hair if you want to shampoo everyday to prevent your hair from becoming dry.

i wash my hair everyday but i don't shampoo it everyday.. i only put conditioner to it everyday that makes my hair silky and healthy looking all the time.. it's better to apply conditioner than shampoo everyday for it will damage your hair.. try it!

No, I cannot wash my hair everyday, it gets greasy or oily..I have to wash it every second or third day..More often than that then it is horrible.

i shampoo my hair every other day and just wash it in between that day. Shampoos makes our hair dry. conditioner is fine and i use it as alternative to shampoo.

No I don't shampoo my hair everyday, it's usually every other day. On days when I don't use shampoo, I put in conditioner instead. But sometimes, when I feel itchy and can't bear it, I would shampoo my hair. =) I can't afford to go to salon every month to hot oil my hair. It's very expensive and I'm afraid it would cause my hair to be brittle if there are too much chemicals. =)

I personally cannot wash my hair everyday because it gets dried out and damaged faster. It becomes more prone to split ends because washing every day does take away from your natural oils. I wash every other day, and use conditioner every time.

I shampoo my hair every other day because it gets too dry. In the summer, when I swim more, my hair tends to dry out. I also use conditioner on my hair, too. I kinda have to, though, because I blow-dry my hair. I also need to use a smoothing silk on those days that are really humid because my hair frizzes easily. I get lots of comments on how my hair looks, so I guess I'm doing OK with it.

Hello Livvy!!! I use to shampoo my hair everyday, but not anymore.. you see i have this same discussion about shampooing your hair everyday but w/ different title, you can check it out. I learned from my mom that shampooing everyday weakens my hair, ans hse was right, i had dry and brittled hair. so lately i skip shampooing every other day.

I don't shampoo my hair every day because my hair gets dried out very easily, and therefore very FLAKY! So I do it every other day and it seems to be alright. I also use brilliant brunette cream (kind of like after your hair is dry) because it seems to make my hair shiney and not flaky haha.
