Did you wear school uniforms in your school or when you were in your High school and/ or college? Whe I was in High school, we were required to wear uniforms. Ladies were required to wear checkered (maroon and white) baloon pleeted skirt wholse length just below the knee and matched with white short sleeve blouse with ribbon at the center. In college, we were not required to wear uniforms, nor IDs. Most universities in the Philippines specially private ones require school uniforms

We didnt wear school uniforms when i went to school nor do my kids now. I wished they would have unifoms though. There is so much of an issue on brand name clothes in our schools and making fun of people who do not have the clothes that others wear. If we were all to wear the same clothes like the uniforms then there would be nothig to say we would all be dressed the same. I think it would also teach the kids something as they have to take care of their uniforms.

I wore a school uniform at the private Glasgow (Scotland) High School for Girls from when I was four and a half until 17 years old. It was a navy blue, skirt, light blue blouse with a navy blue, light blue and silver stripped tie, a navy blue blazer with the school badge on the pocket in the summer and a nap coat in the winter, black shoes and long stockings, a hat or a beret. For years after I left school I never wore navy blue as I was sick of it.

It is compulsory for students to be in school uniforms in Singapore with the exception of some with special clearance. This is to create uniformity and identity in the school. However, when one finishes the basic education (incidently
is 10 or 12 years depending if one goes to college) and moves on to higher
learning, there are no more school uniforms. Perhaps these institutions recognise
the students as adults and respect their dressing.

Well when I was at high school we wore uniforms. Nowadays most primary schools (age 5-12) have school uniforms - they usually consist of polo shirts, swetshirts or cardigans (with school logo) and black or grey trousers/skirts! Training shoes (sneakers) are definitely not allowed! xxx

Hello kababayan! I too wore uniform in elementary and highschool. It was a mocha brown long sleeved dress with red ribbon and pipings. We also had to wear a different uniform on wednesdays and mass days.
In college, there was no uniform no id or no gates in my school. I had a classmate who didn't even wear shoes to class on mondays, and no one cares what people wear.

Yes I did and I was proud of my uniform. As a teacher, I have mostly taught in schools with uniform. Only once as a casual did I experience a no uniform school. That school was a discipline disaster and should have been quickly abolished as being a model that simply doesn't work.

Sometimes I wear uniforms in school, but most of my time in school, I dont wear uniforms. My school doesnot require every student to wear uniforms all the time. When there is public activities, school will ask students to wear uniforms.

we were required to wear uniforms back at high school. on mondays we wear a pink pleated skirt and a white blouse with pink ribbon. from tuesdays to wednesdas, we wear blue pleated skirt and a white blouse with a blue necktie. ^__^
back in college, this is the best part, we werent required to wear uniforms. we were free. not even required to wear IDs. but we had to have our IDs all the time. we wouldnt be us if we dont have that. ^__^ but its ok. as long as we are not forced to wear uniforms. we could even wear shorts and flip-flops! like a beach wear and no teacher would argue.

Yeap We had to wear uniform in School. Girls had to wear a grey shirt and a blue pinnaform. Boys had the same colour shirt and pants. Uniform really does make a good difference. Uniform represents the school you are studying. In college though, we did not have uniform. We had our choice to dress as per our wish. In India, most of the schools and colleges follow the same rules.

I'm in highschool, the only public school in my region that wears a uniform. But we just wear a golf shirt. Or a sweater, or a blouse. We have a lot of different uniform styles, but it's got our school crest emblazoned on the front. It's kind of lame, but, whatcha gonna do?

nope, we never had to wear uniforms in school.. I remember a bunch of my girlfriends and I really wanted the school to start uniforms lol.. I dont know why because if we had to we probably wouldn't have wanted to..
alot of our schools didn't have uniforms when I went, but now alot of them have started to use them.
I notice alot of them with the navy blue pants and skirts with white shirts.
my niece had to wear those...

When I was in school, public schools did not require us to wear uniforms. That has changed. My children wear uniforms now and I'm glad. It makes life a little easier.
They have plenty of time to "express themselves" with what they wear, after school and on the weekends.

Yes,from primary school to high school,I was required to wear uniforms. But in my opinion, the "uniforms" I had should be calles as "sweater-uniforms".To be honest I don't like all my uniforms coz they are ugly, lol. So when I came into university, the first thing made me happy was that I needn't to wear uniforms to school everyday.
