I need Instrument help. I know nothing on how to pick good instruments .

the schools in our area just opened their band program and my child joined. she has never played a instrument before. they are giving her a test to see which is right for her. i know nothing about any instrument and have to rely on the preson saling the things to help make decisions. can anyone tell me the best name brands of the woodwind instruments. Please.

Although I don't have children, I do see how this could be a dilemma for parents... I loved being in the school band and since I didn't have a favorite instrument, I would up playing drums... later on in Life, I became a multi-instrumentalist! :)

In my opinion it's better up to your child's own interesting. Which you choose for her is not really she wants to or interested in. I suggest that you'd better make disision according to which one your daughter is interested in.
