Birthday Reflections and Thoughts...

I have gone this far in my life...and as I look back, I reminisce the time when I was young, then when I was in college, I played volleyball as my sports....I thought that amidst my youth that I was invincible...as I celebrate my birthday tomorrow, I realize that I was then wrong...with some health problems which are very real, I had to slow down and discipline myself--food, activities, avoid stress as much as I can...take good care of my health for the sake of my family and my work and for a lot of people who care. Today is not yet my birthday, and already I received an outpouring of greetings and gifts, most of them so touching, inspiring, affirming ... and I feel loved. How could have I touched so many lives? I even did not notice it, but with over 30-40 messages and greetings from people who care, I feel energized, I feel loved, I feel needed. What more could I ask for? I have a family who loves me and people around me who care....I am counting down on my life, and finally it dawned on me--I have become what I am because of the countless affirmations from people within my immediate circle...on my birthday tomorrow, I can say that the Lord indeed loves me so much for this outpouring of blessings...
