Does anyone else not have a TV? Or is it just me?

I got rid of my TV over 3 years ago as it seemed to be nothing but repeats and it wasn't worth paying the licence fee for. When people find out I've haven't got TV most think it's very strange, does anyone agree with me?

I have a TV but I don't use it... it realyy a waste of energy and money... I have boycotted TV news for the rest of my Life, and most of the shows are outright silly... besides all that, the Internet can provide you with all the entertainment you could ever want!
I applaud your wise decision and here are a couple of rewards:

I'm in the UK and we have to pay a licence fee every year for the TV. It's around £150 ($300) for the year.

Maybe. Because almost all of households have TV. I was amazed that my co-worker even have 4 TVs in their house and they bought a very large LCD TV again. My other co-worker spent about $2,300 for a TV. . I really wish we didn't have one so me and my family can have a nice bonding time with each other. Sometimes, instead of making the most out of the time we spent together, we get distracted with TV.
