we had a small tornado come thru our town yesterday and once it was over my dogs and i went outside and walked the yard looking at all the debri and broken trees in our yard. well we found a baby bird that had come out of its nest it was wet and cold so i picked it up and took it in the garage where i wrapped it up until it was dry .. then i went on line and found out what to feed it and how to care for it.. so my daughters and i spent all day yesterday and last night taking care of it and this afternoon now that it is nice and sunny out i took it outside and put it back in a tree and another bird ( the same kind) has been perching on the tree with it and flying past it trying to get it to follow it... the baby bird does have feathers and has been trying to fly it jumped out of the tree and flew across the yard only to fall to the ground.. anyways.. what would you have done had you found a baby bird after a storm? would have let it alone and let mother nature take its course or try to save it like we did?

Since it was a little older I would have cared for it. I wouldn't have a lot of time to care for it. It doesn't seem like it will take it very long to learn how to fly. Before you know it, the little bird will be begging you for scraps. LOL. Depending on what kind of bird it is you might have a wild friend eating out of your hand.

we're animal lovers so we probably would have tried to take care of it. although you never know anymore if its safe...with all the diseases animals are carrying anymore. atleast we have the internet full of information on how to do stuff lol.
