Do you believe in rebirth and Karma?

Everyday I can hear people talking about virtues and vices and linking them to Karma and rebirth.Often I hear people say that I am suffering in this life for my past life's sins.
For me I am not a strong believer in this philosophy since till now I had not come across any solid proof to substantiate this statement.Have you?Have you in any time of your life met anyone or heard anything related to this that can strengthen this philosophy?

i do believe in karma but not in rebirth that my present life is connected with my past life..

I beleive in karma , i don't beleive in rebirth .
I beleive we are sent on earth for a certain time to accomplish certain milestones, when the time is up , that is it.
But I beleive that what goes aroung comes around, I beleive that a smile will be returned witha smile , a good deed will be returned with a good deed , if you hurt someone on purpose , yes someone will hurt you on purpose.
