How many children do you have and is this how many you wanted? Before I got married I wanted 12 kids, my husband talked me down to six and I now have four. I had to stop because I was told if I had more it was going to kill me. I am happy with four though.

I fully understand how hard it is and I feel for you. I have been there. I think the only reason I gave up because I really thought it was no use anymore and then I would get pregnant. I hope you have some luck. Thanks!

I had trouble getting pregnant too, it took me 3 years to get pregnant with my last one. I found that when I actually gave up trying and thinking that I wouldn't have any more, that is when I got pregnant. Good luck with having more. Thanks!

That is what others have been telling me, not to worry about it and just let it be. It's hard to though LOL Thanks!

I always wanted a big family too. I have also unfortunately lost 5 children, four to miscarriage and 1 was stillborn. I am sorry to hear that you lost one. Thanks!

You are funny! Anyway, i have 1 son just for now. My husband and i wants another one but maybe 2-3 years from now. We will plan for that so that we can support our kids someday. I just love 2-3 and after that no more.

It sounds like a good plan. It's definitely good to sort out your finance before having too many as kids are not cheap. Thanks!

I've got 3 kids - 2 boys and a girl. My wife and I had wanted to have kids right after our marriage, though we did not really target how many initially. After our first boy was born, the other two to follow were really surprises, and I mean happy surprises. This was especially so for our third child, who happened to be a girl. I've always wanted to have a girl. We have finally decided to stop at three because we've come to realise that raising children these days are not easy. Financially, we could well not afford to, especially in Singapore where we live. Thoughts of providing their future with living comfort can be rather frightening, such as the kids' education costs etc. Ideally now, we would have loved to own 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls, so that they could have play companions. It's a joy watching them growing up together.

It is a joy watching kids grow up, but they do it too fast. Thanks!

As a teen I swore I'd have 6 kids...as an adult I wanted (still do) 12 adopted + my 6 kids...I only had 3 children though and sadly lost one so I'm down to 2 :-/ and a step daughter..BUT my husband said I could adopt my 12 if we ever win the lottery and for now I have 6 pets as well which are like my kids too LOL

We just have 1 child, but we are still young. Our son is only 18 months old. Before I had him, I wanted 4, but now I'm not so sure. We do know that we for sure want one more, but four just seems more than we could handle, at least right now. Our house isn't big enough either! It's the perfect size for two adults and a toddler. A baby could probably be added without much trouble, but we would need to move before we had a third.
My husband really just wants two, though, so that's probably all we will have.

It's hard when you don't have the room. If I was to have more, I would definitely have to find a bigger place. Thanks!

I wanted 10 kids. I have 2 and I might be done. My body does not handle pregnancy very well. We have talked about bringing foster kids into our home and adopting the ones who were available but our kids are still so young. They need a lot of attention still, so we are just going to let life decide.

I would still love to have more, but have been advised that it would most likely kill me. It is amazing how things change to either medical reason, finance reasons or that we just change our mind. I am just so glad that I do have my four. Thanks!

Hi superchook! I wanted to have 3 children and my hubby wanted to have 5. Unfortunately, we still don't have any until this time. I am still hoping and wishing to at least have even just one before my biological clock really runs out. But I am happy to know that you got four. Best wishes for you and your family. Have a nice day and take care!
