Any realtors using a program to track your database?

I've been reading a lot about having an effective database/tracking system such as "Top Producer". Has anyone tried either "Top Producer" or any other type that keeps tracks of your clients/referrals/farm list? I obviously have an email list, address labels, contact information on my MLS system but I don't have an actual "database" program. Everyone I have is just grouped together, whether it be buyers/sellers/realtors/etc. Does anyone have a recommendation of which database is worth the money? If you don't use a database - what is your method for tracking your "house list"?

I have toyed with the idea of buying it, but really you can do your own spreadsheet if you want to. I have my farming list and a separate one for my SOI. Top producer is pretty expensive.

A new agent in my office has used Top Producer before and she seemed to really like it. I have yet to figure out what program, if any, to use.
Hope you find something that works
