I'm so excited!!! I got my first check in the mail this week from working online. Granted it's not very big... $7.48 (it was 10.48 but they charge $3 to send the check) but still it's money. I got it from Clixsense. I also have some PayPal payments from two sites but it adds up to less than $1... still money though so it's all good. I'm waiting on a $28 PayPal payment from another site and a $27 check from another, for payouts that I made in July. I have another site that has met payout but I've yet to request payment.
When did you get your very first payment for working online? How much was it for? No matter how big it is, it's always great to be making free money!

I am new to mylot and still have not got any payments. But i can feel how good it must be felt when you receive your payments. Second thing it is not free money my dear friend, as you have written. Earning money oon mylot is not an easy task and i am sure it is not easy anywhere else also.

I was thinking about that too, you're right it isn't free money as you still have to do work for it. I guess it only feels "free" because you are earning money for things people have generally not made money for before and for something that can be a lot more fun than a typical job.

My payments have been from myLot through PayPal. I have received some good payments, but the rate has dropped considerably in recent months. I will be continuing here, because I have some good friends here, but I now spend more time on yuwie. It is different and at first I wasn't sure about it, but it is much more interesting and friendly and a great place to be. If you are interested, the link is yuwie.com/yuwie.asp?r=9289

I'm already on that site, thanks, but feel free to friend me. The link is on my profile page here. Love that site but I still love myLot, the two are totally different and in different categories I think.

My first payment for working online was actaully from myLot! It was for about $15, and took me two months of posting to earn it. Of course, now that there are so many more members, and I am busier, it takes a lot longer for me to break the $10 mark, here. I'm working on my third month towards my current payout and probably won't make it until the September cutoff.
I've also got $16 in my clixsense account; I raised my payout level to $20 to take the sting out of the $3 "processing fee" for the check. I wish they would pay via paypal like myLot does; but it is still a very good site.

That is a great first check! I love Clixsense though lately I've been completely MIA from that site since I've been researching some other things and trying to learn a few other things online too. I was thinking I would raise my payment amount too because of that fee, $3 is a lot!

I haven't received a physical check, yet, that is one I get in the mail, but I have received money directly into my PayPal account like from here, then it was a joy to receive money from the articles I've written for Associated Content--I just got more funds into my account from another article I had written...none of the payments are large..yet...but every little bit helps...right?

I totally agree, every bit counts! PayPal payments are always good too, gotta love those. I'm glad AC is working for you, I hope to have them pay me for a few articles as well.

The first check I earned from working online was from Associated Content. $16 in my paypal account. I'm waiting for my check from a GPT site.

My first check was from Mylot. I was so happy because I was paid for something that I was doing for free. I signed up with a couple other sites, but I am only getting a couple of cents a day via Paypal. I am thankful for all my little earnings online. I am trying my best to increase my income.

It is a great feeling to get free money for something you'd otherwise do anyway. A couple of cents is still something and better than nothing.

It is exciting, and I agree money is money no matter the amount. I hope I'll see only bigger checks from here on out though. I hope you get that first payment soon.

When I got my first check from Epinions I almost fell over. I couldn't believe that they actually paid. Seven years later I am still at the site and making a nice little amount every month. Sometimes it sucks when you put a lot of work into a program and it doesn't pay or you get ripped off ... thankfully I haven't had that happen too many times.

I didn't list the sites because that's against myLot rules to do in a discussion however the sites are listed on my profile as well as a link to my proofs of payment.
There is no limit on the amount of money that you can be paid through PayPal and yet you can withdraw the money at anytime.

I wish I could remember. Oh I think I do. It was for All Advantage and that was years ago. It was the only check I got from them before they went belly up.
That was in the old days when paid for surf meant that, paid for surf, and before you got paid by Paypal. Now you have to work twice as hard and there are more sites that do not pay.

How many years have you been working online? I've only been at it since the end of June, this year. I wish I knew about WAH but before then I didn't even have the slightest clue that you could make money working online. How sad is that?
