There is no meaning in leading a mechanical life. Our character formation depends lot on our family atmosphere. If you are not able to create a friendly atmosphere with your parents, then you cannot create any type of frienship with others also.So try to spend more time with your parents. If you openly talk all your problems with your parents, then you can create a freindly atmosphere in your home.I always talk more and mingle more with my parents. No getting time beacuse of studies or work is not an excuse. We have to find out any how some moments to share with parents. For me,my parents are like a close friends and i share all problems with both mom and dad.Dont mingle your studies with family relationship. Some parents dont show their feelings or love openly with their childrens. But,inside their heart is full of love for them.

I didn't. Now I am far away from home and I just give a call to them every week. I think I should chat with them more. But I don't know how to begin. I love them and I don't want them worry about me. I think I don't know how to communicate with others. How can I do?

Yes, I talk alot with my parent especially my mom. I treat them like my friends. I simply share with them my happiness, sadness and secret. I seek them for advice and problem I face. I respect them as parent and treat them as friend like joke, speak openly and simply anything.

I try to make some time almost every day to talk to my mom. She is 72 and noone knows how long she will be around. I want to know that I made time for her, like she did and does for me still.

When I live with my parents, I talk with them everyday. And I like talking with them everything. My parents are very good to their children, they can do anything for their children, but when their children make mistakes, they must point them out and correct them.
Now I live in a far city away from them. We often call each other every 3 days, I miss them very much, then I decide to find a job around their city.

I live in a state with two other siblings while the rest of my family is back home. I talk to the family back home at least once or twice a week and to one of my sister up here every other day. It is nice to have some family close by. I do miss being back home, but find it easier to get on with my life up here if I don't talk too much to everyone back home all the time. But absence does make the heart grow fonder.

yes, I always wish I could chat with them daily. But, as I stay away from them I can't do it regularly. But, whenever I get time, I just call up my mother and speak to her and with my younger brother. My friends and relatives are also good support for me.

When my mom was alive, I called her every morning. I miss her terribly. My dad was deaf so I would talk to him by a special TTY machine where he read what I said and he spoke back (Lost his hearing at 23 so he spoke very clearly). We talked daily until he went to the rotten nursing home. He passed away a year ago. I talk to my sister many times a day. I even talk to her online and she lives just a couple miles away. I talk to my brother rarely and my other sister about weekly. I should call my older sister more but we sort of get on each other's nerves although we both care very much.
I will call her later. I started thinking about how I never expected my mother or father to NOT be there and now they aren't and I think I better touch base with my sister even if she drives me nuts. lol.
Thanks for the reminder!

I don't chat with my parents every day. My days are all pretty much the same, so what would we talk about? I see them once a week, and that's usually sufficient.

Well,I don't speak everyday with my parents.I'm a student and I study far away from home and my parents. So that I can see them on weekends, when I go back home. But it's hard to say you speak with your parents when you see them only twice a month.

I used to chat few wt my family. But when I joined the army, and meet with difficults and problems,I call for my family for help and support. In that parield I lean the importance of chatting with family.Yes I loved them, loving them, and will continue love them forever,so communication is important and don't ignor to call they even you are busy with business, your own carrier.
