I sometimes see people can take an apple, wash it and just take a bite directly without peeling. I cant eat fruits without peeling, even I have washed.

Why not ? I can eat the fruits with and without peeling. But that depends on the type of the fruit. LOL. When eating JackFruit, I cant eat without peeling. But when eating the apple, I can eat it without peeling. Some say eating the fruits with their skin is good for health too.

That is unfortunate because the fruits that are meant to be eaten with the peel, like apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, etc. have most of the things that are really good for your health in the peel. That is where a lot of the anti-oxidants are. Also, a lot of the really good flavor is there. Have you tried eating the peel? You should try it, it could be one of those things that you like and didn't know it or that you could quickly develop a liking for after eating it a few times.

I can eat apples, pears and apricots with out peeling. Oranges and bananas must be peeled. Isn't a lot of the nutrition in the peel or is that just an old wive tale?
