I do not use toothpick after every meal. I use toothpick only if something is stuck between my teeth. I had used mouthwasher before, but now I do not use it. I used to chew something called Jeerakam after most meals. Jeerakam is otherwise known as Cumin. This helps to decrease any bad breath and also helps in digesion of the food. Cumin or Jeerakam is also good to keep the mouth clean.

It has already become a habit for me to use a toothpick after having food especially nuts, leafy vegetables and meat. Though I know it’s better to brush my teeth or to use dental floss to get rid of the stuffs that stick in the slots of my teeth I still fond of using it. I will feel uneasy to leave the disgusting stuffs there. My face definitely looked inelegant if try to get rid of it with my tongue every now and then. You know it is difficult and impossible for the tongue to remove the stuffs from the slot.
