Well, I have heared alot of things and stories regarding masterly solid defense of Hanif Mohammad (PAK), Sunil Gavaskar (IND) and Geoff Boycott(ENG) but haven't witnessed them ever... But currently I do believe Rahul Dravid has a far better defense than others. But presently, few flaws do arising in his game, may be its just a bad patch... But I also do believe Micheal Hussey has got a brillant defence and a great overall technique. He knows which balls to leave, which to defend and which to stroke towards the boundaries. But its too early to compare him with the Wall, Rahul Dravid

I also feel that rahul dravid is the best defensive batsmen in the world in the current modern day game. He is a very technically correct batsman, i have ever seen for quite some time, since i have been watching cricket.
