My daughter is 2 yrs old and 5 months. She's not here with me, she's in Philippines with my parents. Everyday I see her on the webcam and talk to her online. She talks a lot, I tell you...LOL! Before, the first thing she used to tell me was "hello mama, i miss you" cute no? but now it's different... everytime we talk online she will say "mama, give me some money pls..i want to buy ice cream" LOL!! I just laughed at her. Well, I feel guilty because everytime when I'm in Philippines I always have this coin purse full of coins for her, so that's why she got used to asking money to me. (I need to bribe her sometimes)*smilesss*
Just days ago, I was talking to my father online and he told me a funny story about my baby. She was asking for money to my mother to buy ice cream, my mother said she has no money. So my daughter went to my father and asked him money, then the same, my father said he has no money.
So guess what my daughter did next? She went to the desktop, pressed the "on" button of the computer. When my mother saw her, she asked her what is she doing.. (she calls my parents mommy & daddy) she said "mommy no money, daddy no money, but mama has money, will ask mama"... my parents laughed!! LOL!!! It made me laughed!
I just want to share some stories about my baby....
Thank you. Happy myLotting!
cheers!:D

Well, I've been here in Bahrain for almost 2 yrs now, but every once a yr we go back to Philippines for at least 2 months. Last time I saw her was April this yr, I went home to have a vacation. And that month, during my stay there she developed the money asking talent.. LOL!!
Your niece is very cute as well. It's fun when they start talking..*smiles* Thanks.
cheers! :D

That's a cutie little girl of yours! I may say a talented one when she grow up. By reading your story about your baby I missed mine too. Got two lovely kids as well and I'm away for quite sometime now and hoping to be with them soon.

Well all I could say is that you daughter is developing fast and her logic is becoming sharper and brighter. She can analyze things in her age and that is a good sign. Hopefully she would not be bringing that habit of asking for money every now and then hehe that may become a bad habit eventually in the future. But for now it is kinda cute story to share to everyone in here.

Ohh, believe me, I'm worried that she'll develop a bad habit on asking money..*smiles* I just hope not.. hehehe. It's kinda cute now, her asking money 'coz she's still a baby, but when she gets older and it'll become a habit ohh! dangerous! LOL!!!Thanks.
cheers! :D

what a cute story you told us fab315. i know how you terribly missed your baby my dear friend. lucky you are because you can keep in touch with your baby and parents with the latest technology we have. you must be grateful how internet made you closer to them even when you are far away. but not to my grand kid whose father is the usa as a 'tnt'. they have been separated for almost 6 years now and only could talk to each other thru the cellphone. i feel that they really missed each other's company by way their conversation goes through. i really hope that my grand kid would be meeting her dad personally someday.

I do miss her terribly but everyday I keep on saying "Thank God for the modern technology , the internet" I can keep the communication constant between me and my baby. Seeing her on the webcam and talking to her online eases the missing part a 'lil bit.
That's a sad story about your grand kid and his/her father. For sure they missed each other badly. I just hope that everything will be alright and that they see each other again soon. Hugs and kisses to your grand kid. Take care. Thanks my friend.
cheers! :D

Bless your two-year old daughter, she must be missing you much...anyway, this arrangement is not new for us in the Philippines. Parents or one parent may work overseas, and the child or children are left in the care of the grandparents...well, I hope that your baby will soon learn a lot from this arrangement, such as independence, initiative, loyalty, generosity and even patience...she has to wait for the time when you come home to visit and hug her...here's my cheers to you...I know you only want the best for your kid....

Hi fab315! That was kinda cute! i love it when kids or toddlers become so talkative and they say things so innocently. I guess you're missing your little girl a lot. I hope and wish she will grow up to be a fine young lady...And you and her are lucky because i know grandparents are very caring and loving. Have a nice day and take care!

Just convey my regards to her, tell her form Uncle Michael.
