How will a guy usually react when he finds out a girl likes him?

And what will he do after he knows?
I kind of have this crush in class, and I told my friend about him. Since my feelings aren't that serious, I kind of told my friend to tell this guy that I like him just to see how he'll react. I know it's silly and childish to do - but I'm just really curious about how he'll react since we've gotten to know each other for a month now.
Anyway, my friend did what I told her to. After our midterm exams, she cornered him and teased him about how "someone in class" likes him. Curious, he asked who, and then my friend spilled the beans. My friend told me that my crush said that he's flattered and happy... so I beamed happily!
Then without warning, I began to feel panicky and nervous because I didn't think about what's going to happen after. I became worried of how we're going to be seeing each other in class! Maybe he'll ignore me.. feel awkward about it... or I don't know! The next class is Monday, and I'm afraid he won't speak to me again... And I don't know how I can act around him, knowing he knows...
Darn, what am I going to do?

Gosh, I totally feel the same way! The best feeling is when u have a crush on others, but when they know about it and things seem to progress further, I start to feel nervous and panicky..This is the worst. Anyway, just act normal, that is what I do, unless he ignores me, then I will do the same. But for your case, I think he will approach u since he is kinda happy that u like him.

It's no longer the same because we don't talk anymore.. probably embarrassed... but I'm still contented because we smile at each other whenever we catch each other's eyes.

Usually a fella will look upon himself with great insecurity and think that he is not worthy of going out with that female. But if he is smart hell get over that ignorance and develope a personality and a plan to get the dating show on the chemistry road...

What you have to remember is, this situation is just as awkward for him as it is for you. Like, he is going to be feeling self-conscious knowing that you are going to be there and is probably right now wondering himself how he's going to handle it!
So the best thing to do is just try to act as normal and relaxed as possible. I know it's hard, and you probably think right now it's impossible, but try reminding yourself that he was HAPPY you liked him. He didn't react with disgust or indifference or run away screaming, so you have no reason to be scared of his reaction. If he does ignore you, then it is not because he hates you but because he is embarrassed. If you act like you are not embarrassed (even if you are!) then he will relax too.
