Isn't it romantic... "if a bird may love a fish where would they live? who gets the finsand who lose the wings? It's an irony, that's how cruel but poetic love can be..

Hi 15felicity! How can love be blind? Well, for me it's because "IT SEEMS" we are blinded by how much we love and care for the person and "IT SEEMS" we can't see his or her faults and flaws. I say "IT SEEMS" because in truth, we know all about his or her flaws and faults but the love and acceptance we have and feel for that person outweighs his or her imperfection...that's we hear people saying "I LOVE YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE". Well, I guess this is just my point of view and it may differ from other romantics. :) Have a nice day!

i guess love is never blind honey, it just covers its eyes so it won't see the flaws of the it loves. and if you love someone truly, you will accept everything, the goods and the bads..hmm..oh love..makes you go oh so crazy..

"I am glad 'tis night, you do not look on me, For I am much ashamed of my exchange: But love is blind and lovers cannot see The pretty follies that themselves commit; For if they could, Cupid himself would blush To see me thus transformed to a boy." Shakespear Yes its ironic but that's how love is, mysterious. Love is blind they say I thinks because some people who are inlove are blinded to see the truth, prepared to forgive a wrong and too blind that they will overlook whatever their partner's wronddoings. I say love is neither blind, nor in conflict with the truth. For love is always wedded to our wisdom, the marrow of one's very being. :-)
