I am thinking about listing a couple items, and I am thinking ending the auction on Sunday might be better than any other day of the week. What day do you normally end your auction and why?

I haven't been on Ebay for a while but did sell many items. I could only list when I was available and did not use the list later facility. I tried to list lots on the cheaper listing days when they came up. I know there were also lots more listings but felt that also meant more people looking. I did well anyway. Hope yours goes well.

In my experience, the day of the week does not really matter. I always heard that Sunady night was the best, but honestly it never seems to make difference. The biggest thing I've found is what time it ends. You want the west coast people there, and that means after 7 o'clock eastern time. Good luck!

I usually end my auctions during the weekends (Friday night to Sunday nights) since there seems to be a lot of ebayers during that span. I suggest that you end it in the evening (end it in a time that can be convenient for both the east coast and west coast any place in between). Most of the people logged in to their account after work.

Thats a really good idea ending it so it covers different time zones.

I do my auctions from Sunday to Sunday or Tuesday to Sunday....Sunday for whatever reason seems to be the best day to have an auction end and I've also found that if you end it later in the day (mid to late afternoon OR early evening) the results are also better....

I have read to never end an auction mid week. That most of the buyers are on Thursday till Sunday. So I would say to end on Sunday. I do alright on my auctions but sometimes it gets to be slow due to school starting or maybe vacation time. But I still do pretty good.

I think Sunday evening is the time that most people recommend you end your auctions, but then you have to factor in time zones as well, to try to have them end at the best time of day. I ran into this problem yesterday when I had stuff I wanted to list, but by the time I was ready to list it, it was approaching 10 p.m. Eastern time, and I just thought that might be too late at night. Perhaps I will get things ready tonight, and list them tomorrow as 5 day auctions. :)

i think a sun to sun is good, but it depends how long you want to do it for.most of my auctions i do most of them for a one day listing,i get alot more responses, and alot more buyers.i have only been selling on ebay for 3 years now and luckily i have had great success.i also like 3 day listings but end them in the evening you get more viewers i think.

I am surprise that one day listing brought you a lot of responses I always list for 3 days or a week. I guess in the future I will try listing for 1 day.
