I found a picture at the Chicago Daily News archieves of a flood in Gage Park in 1909. The pic is of a little boy, dressed in knickers standing on the north side of 51st street facing west. In the background is a street car going down 51st street. It is right where the new subdivision called Park Place is being built Does anyone know anything about the flood? Does anyone know anything about gage Park in general?
