Is $10 beyond reach?

It looks like you're probably not making much because you're concentrating on starting discussions rather than responding to them. While you do make a lot for starting discussions that get a lot of responses, you aren't going to get that many responses until after you have established yourself here and made some friends. So you should probably try doing more responding for a while. I joined mylot about half-way through January, and made payout for that month, so it's not an impossible goal.

Let's see, I'm new here so I don't know for sure. I have 250 posts so far and I woke up today and 86 cents was in my account. I just did the math and that means I only got paid $.0034 cents per post. That means that to get $10 I will have to do 2900 posts. Good luck. I wish it wasn't so unclear about how to make money here.

hi wykid! I see you only got 52 posts so far so do not expect to have $10 at the moment. I too started and earned my first $10 without any referrals. I made $10 when i first reached my 150 post i guess. Back then mylot rate is higher because there are only about 65 thousand members. You do not necessarily start a new topic since it is possible that the one you have in mind has already been posted way back and just been buried among the hundred of thousand posts here. So, i suggest that you just make comments to as many discussions you find interesting. In no time, you can finally earn $10. With the rate now, i guess you have to work 100-200 more posts. Don't worry, it might be less. =) Mylot has no definite pay rate scheme per post so the more you post, the sooner you will earn your first $10. Just enjoy mylotting!
