I'm having some difficulty articulating this question, but hopefully you'll figure out what I'm trying to ask...
When you are sick or hurt, what type of healing do you prefer to use?
There's what I would call "traditional", in my mind that would be Western medicine... you go to the local doctor and he or she gives you a prescription, you go to the drug store and take some pills...
Or, do you use homeopathy? herbs? extracts? chinese medicine? Aromatherapy?
Is there something you use that I haven't mentioned?

If the case is not too serious, I prefer just rest and water.
And, I will rely more on herbal medicine that consist of plant material. I try to avoid "western medicine" unless absolutely necessary. And that's because you don't know what undiscovered side effects it might bring.

When I am sick, I do not see any doctor. Often, I will sleep it away as it is just
flu. The worst is either I get a fever or puke or severe headache. I will just
apply ice pack on my head. If the condition does not get better after a week, I will go to the western doctor. I do visit TCM physician for maintenance as western
doctors and TCM have different theories in healing. Western doctors cure symptons but TCM cure the source. Being a Reiki channel myself, I do Reiki myself at times.

I believe in both natural and Western Medicine. But the only difference is that, in Western Medicine there is lot of probability that you will get a side effect.
But in Natural Medicine, the probability to get a side effect is very very less when compared to the Western Medicine. I use more Natural medicine available at home rather than the Western Medicine.

I have tended to stick with Western medicine really as that is just how I have been brought up. I would be interested to try natural remedies but wouldn't really know where to start and am particularly wary of scam artists - not that I am saying all practioner's are a con, but they are out there and I would hate to have my faith in natural remedies destroyed by such a person.

When I,m hurt or ill I would prefer to use natural remedies, rather than go to a chemist or dr, Like right now i have a really bad pinched nerve at the base of my spine, 2morro i will go to my local Markets where ther is a man who does remaedial massage, I,ve been to him on a few occasion over the years and he knows exactly what he,s doing. I'd prefer that any day than to take muscle relaxant tablets that can do harm to your stomach etc...
Too many people rely on man made medicine , i think they should look moer towards Natural things such as , Massage which helps prevent stress in the body to start with... Without stress , we have much healthier lives all round.

If I can avoid it, I try and steer clear of prescription medicines, and prefer to eat healthily, and use natural remedies wherever possible. I try and lead quite a healthy lifestyle - I don't eat junk food, or fried and greasy foods, and I am vegetarian, so I tend to eat loads of fruit and vegetables, and no animal produce. If all else fals, I will visit a Doctor and take any meds that they prescribe, but I will always try and heal myself the natural way first.

I would always first seek the "traditional" medicine, if anyone in my family is really sick. I would go to the local clinic ang seek help from a doctor. I would take supplements not as a medication but just so perhaps, it would help and facilitate the healing. When there is a rare occasion when someone is really sick, if the medicines have a really bad side effects or some other reason that traditional medication cannot cure, I would then resort to alternative healing. Maybe acupuncture, herbal, and others. I don't think I could go anymore wrong with them as they are basically natural.

Hi there. I think you have mentioned the mains types of healing... I personally like traditional meds, anyway, now days when we got to our doctor, we get told to go home and rest up, that things should clear in a few days, that giving meds wont help at this stage... So we've resorted to our own traditional medicine...

For the most part all I have availability to is western medicine, but I believe an eclectic approach, using both the western and eastern approach, and working on healing the mind, body, and spirit is the way to go.

Whenever possible, I prefer to use natural remedies to heal myself.
