Are you tired of Yuwie yet?

August 11, 2007 2:26pm CST
I must have come across 35 discussions looking for Yuwie referrals in the last 2 days. Is it just me or is anyone else getting sick of hearing about this site? Yes I am sure it's wonderful and fantastic, but come on, do a search it's a dead topic plus like it or not, it's spam. So are you sick of hearing about this site? Either way, why? Are you seeing some topics that need to be put to rest? What are they? Thanks to all in advance, BTW DON’T LEAVE ME YOUR REFERRAL LINK I WILL REPORT IT.

I am glad I am not the only one. I mean like I said it may be a nice site, but if I join it, it sure as heck won't be under one of these people that are posting it here.

awww please can I leave you my link??? lol...I don't even know what yuwie is and from what I've read don't really care to. I try to stay away from referral sites and this is probably a very good one to stay away from!

Yeah I understand. Most of them were listed under "mylot" or were popping up in the "new posts" the last few days. It's the latest craze, like dormcheck was, LOL.

Yes, I'll agree there are too many discussions on yuwie - and this is another one. You have posted because you are fed up with so many discussions on it, but I think a large number - who are long-time members here - are posting because they are disappointed with what has been happening here. When we see people like Gabs, who would never harm anyone, being victimised, we know there is something very wrong. Many are disappointed and looking for greener pastures, and many have left. It is true that referral links are against myLot guidelines, unless they are requested. I have seen a few of these, but they are not only for yuwie. They are for many sites.

No I am not talking about those from a few days ago, I know who and what you are talking about. No these are newbies going to town with their refferal links. I would say half of the ones I have seen are by members that can't even cut n paste. Like I said I must have seen a good 35 of them in the last two days on top of the normal spam posts.

The good thing about Mylot is it is geared for every one..some people are just more ambitious than others, some want to actually earn an income online rather than working for others. It is all about personal choice. I wrote an article about Yuwie but I don't post referral links, it's up to any one that is interested to join or not..people can only alert others to it..as I was alerted about Mylot..If someone didn't shout about it, I would never have even seen Mylot. So it is every one's right to post in the making money online section about making money online and it is up to the individual to choose if they want to respond or not isn't it? I think we have to just be fair and I understand that posting referral links is against Mylot rules..so that I share your plight in..

Oh I am not saying they can't post about it, I am saying it's starting to become a bit over posted, IMO. We went through this about 8 months ago (I think) with dormcheck. You couldn't find a decent post without swimming through 100's of posts about how great it was and here is my referral link. Also these post aren't in making money, at least the majority I was finding was under mylot intrest. I don't go in the making money topic at all. It's not appealing to me and I let them do their thing there.

I think I've read about Yuwie at least 20 times in the last ten minutes. I don't come here to spam for referrals and it makes me mad that others do. What makes me even more mad is that there are those of us who follow the rules and the rest just do as they please as if the rules don't apply to them. I don't even respond to those discussions. It's not worth my time.

Hiya sunshine , I must admit I did get a PM from someone ( haven't seen any discussions but have been off for the last few days , I was like gabs and had a few discussions deleted , Nothing in them at all as that is not my style , I like it here and I like all the people too , I thought I would give the other place a go just in case lol , I like it but haven't really found my way around , If we were left alone and our discussions read before they were deleted I would feel a lot better, however I hope to be here as long as I still have friends here xx

I am totally sick of them, especially the one person who posted discussions about it in 2 hours at least they all go deleted..talk about spam. I reminds me of all the hype about "dormcheck" when it was the latest big new site and it has fallen from the wayside.... taking the unpaid earnings.

That's it!!! I couldn't think of what that other site was that sparked a craze like this, it was dormcheck! LOL, man I am glad you remembered that, I have been thinking for two days now trying to remember what it was last time. Yeah how long did that site last? Then we had the wave of posts complaining about it and how it stopped paying.

There was also another site started by - I forgot who it was, & I forgot the other site name also. It was a forum site that supposedly paid. The guy did not pay the last hosting bill & got suspended by the site hosting company.

OMG, yes, I am so tired of seeing the spam about Yuwie. I am also so sick of seeing the word 'bux' and the gazillion sites that are using it in their names.Geeze. If a person joined and visited all those sites daily, they wouldn't have a life!

Yes, I've seen quite a few discussions about Yuwie. I hate spam. I hate when poeple send me messages with their referral links because I am not trying to make a living off of sites like these. I enjoy Mylot because I've met some interesting people on here, but I sure am not doing it for the money, lol. And if one more random spammer ask me to be on their Friends list.... UGH!!!!!!

Yeesh--tell me about it....I'm kind of fed up with discussions in general about some great site to earn money in general. But yes, I've noticed so many Yuwie discussions and of course the person posts their referral link which is against the rules here anyway. I did take a quick peek at the place but it really didn't impress me much. Besides unless you have a zillion referrals and all I don't see how one can make that much money with it

I have been seeing several mylot discussion for it, and seeing it on other sites too. The yuwie word got out fast that is for sure, and now everyone is going crazy. I did sign up on that site, and I don't see how it's so nice. I don't really like it. You can't even see your earnings until after a month or whatever anyway. I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Um, yes. Within a span of 3 days I must have gotten a billion messages from friends asking me to join under them, not only on here, but also in my email inbox. I get so many spam messages it's not even funny. Well, guess what friends, I do not even open them so sucks to be you. I haven't joined. I might some time, but I hate feeling like I am being forced. If I ask for a referral link, then give it to me please. Otherwise, I am not spamming any of my friends EVER. I wish I would get the same respect sometimes. Oh, and I don't know or care what Yuwie is. The name is stupid. lol

Yes, I am! I also received invitations and I checked Yuwie out...and said 'no thanks!' My hubby was in my office when I logged on and he noticed their setup appears to still be in the setup mode. He cautioned me that if that is the case anyone who gets involved may have wasted their time and effort if they cannot get enough response. I am a 'do one thing well and then move on' kind of a gal. My experiences with Mylot are keeping me happy and content. I also received my first payout today...and that is a nice little tickle. So in my little corner of the world I will stay with Mylot, do my regular writing for much bigger pay...and keep enjoying the quality of life I have worked hard to acheive. I am not interested in any other chat forums, nor do I want to fill out surveys...so I agree...leave me in my blissful little state. I will let you know if I am seeking anything else. Thanks for posting this sunshine...I needed to vent too!
