Iced tea

I love iced tea! My gripe is, fast food places usually only offer Razberry or Peach-flavored iced tea. Eww. That stuff is horrible, in my opinion. It has a strange taste to it. Almost like it's...stale? I know that doesn't make much sense, but it's the best way I can describe the taste. And I hate it when I order tea at, say, Jack in the Box, and the person taking my order doesn't bother to ask if flavored tea is okay. They just assume it is, and I take a big drink, thinking it's plain. Blech. I appreciate the people who say "We don't have plain - is Razberry okay?" Alright, end of rant. lol. I just wanted to get that off my chest.:)

I have just discovered iced tea but the only one they seem to have in the lite is apricot flavoured here, but I think the taste is nice, very refreshing, I often wonder if it is good for you or are they just jumping on the teas wagon...

Only apricot flavored? Where are you from? Yeah, it seems like lots of beverage companies are jumping on the wagon because of the tea craze...

I am from Australia, there are other flavours but only apricot in the Lite....

I love fresh brewed ice tea; most of the places around here have the flavored stuff and I just can't drink it no matter how thirsty I am. Maybe I am a tea snob but if I had to pick between drinking warm water from the tap and some icky fruit flavored tea, the water would win every time.

I agree, fresh brewed is definitely the most refreshing. But some restaurants screw it up and overbrew it. Blech. Or they give you the bottom of the barrel, with the remains floating around.

Well I like ice tea too. But it has to be plain or at the most with a weak lemon flavor. Anything else might as well be some kind of kool aid.

i loved Iced Tea tooo... prefer it with a slice of lemon to it.. but not other flavuring kind :)
