I'm having a Twilight Zone moment and had to share it with all mylotters. All day I noticed people walking back and forth in front of my house and pointing. I've never seen these people before in my life. They were too old to be my kids' friends, so I thought the best of it. Maybe they were admiring my beautiful bookshelves through the windows, or my flower gardens overgrown with weeds. Or maybe one of my cats was up to one of their antics.
Then a big silver truck pulled alongside the house. You know the kind, those hefty he-man trucks that don't fit in a normal parking space at Walmart. A bald He-man guy wearing camouflage gets out of the truck. He keeps looking at the house. "Why are people looking and pointing at our house?" I said to anyone who was listening. He-man went to the kitchen door and knocked. He flashed some identification which did look authentic then asked if any of us recognized the man in the sketch. He said he was a Fugitive Recovery Agent. We shrugged. I was thinking the sketch looked like any of the tattooed and pierced 20-something males who work in my department. I didn't say anything. It was too generic for it to be recognizable as a specific individual. He thanked us for our time, but as he walked away, he kept looking up at our house. Our house has 3 stories. He went to the neighbor's house and questioned them, but not without his partner, some Paul Bunyan looking dude who was waiting in his He-man truck.
A few minutes later, The Fugitive Recovery Agent and his Paul Bunyan partner returned to their He-man truck. They kept looking back at our house, but after a few minutes of discussion, they pulled away. Why do I have a feeling this won't be the last time we'll be seeing them?

At first I thought you were going to say that "Dog the Bounty Hunter" came knocking on your door. Now that would of been exciting. LOL!
And I also feel that the bounty hunters you came in contact with, will show up again, asking more questions.
Hope it all get's taken care of soon.

That would be a pretty freaky situation to be in, I would probably have freaked out and if they kept on staring like that, I would have then asked them if there was a problem and would they like to search the house with the assistance of the local police so they would believe that the person was not thre nor ha they been there and then I would have called the police and had them come over to my house and search it. That way, the thing might have been laid to rest. But I don't know.

It would have scared me to think that they were looking at my house in a questionable fashion. I would guess that they will be back and I would call the police. Are you sure they were recovery agents? I think I would call the police and ask if they knew anything about it.
