Someone wants me out of MyLot!

Because some people are flat out ignorant. Not nice to say but I call a spade a spade. If you're not doing anything wrong and you like myLot then stay where you are. Don't be bullied and pushed around, that's just not right. The person to blame should however be reported to myLot. As far as I understand this kind of s--t is not tolerated. Take Care My Friend.

Well if the person is afraid of saying who they are, why worry? Obviously they are just some gutless jerk trying to bully someone. They most likely used your race because they haven’t anything else to use against you or they aren’t smart enough to any ways. I wouldn’t let it bother me at all. The majority of us out here are not racists, so let us count not those that are.

Someone bashed and told you to get out of myLot simply because you're Puerto Rican? What in the world?! If they're trying to discriminate against Hispanics or whatnot...I hope they realize that Puerto Rico is still part of the United States therefore you're American? Haha! But anyway Naty, don't pay that kind of thing any mind. I myself am from the Caribbean too (Dominican Republic) so I do know what it feels like to be discriminated against at times...just never thought I'd see or hear about that in myLot. Heh. All the more reason to stay, eh? ;)

Going to your live journal to do this shows what a coward this person is. It's too bad you can't find out who it is because I would LOVE to give them a piece of my mind. Telling you to get off mylot! Someone obviously think they are better than the rest of us and actually think they can do something about it. I really feel bad for this person because they have some real problems. I can just imagine what their life is like!

There are some weird people in the world and internet is a good place to find those weirdo. They can hide behind some username and just harass other people. Ignore this person, that's my advice. Fighting him/her is only good for him/her.

Does it really matter what others think of you? I think self esteem matters more to me personally. Is a race that important? I think human intellect is more important than that. If someone is prejudiced, well it is that person's problem, not yours, just don't even acknowledge that person or react at all. The biggest insult that one human can inflict on another is to not even acknowledge that person's existence. I think you do a lot of good here on mylot and contribute a lot that is good overall for the community, and I am sure that there must be a lot of other people here who share this opinion. My suspicion is that this has absolutely nothing to do with being Puerto Rican but, instead, with being bored and/or angry. Who knows how many other people this character has done something like this to. He/She has probably picked out a few people here at MyLot. Some might be fat. Some might be gay. Some might have a different skin color. Not sure how this person came up with his/her selection--or he/she just might have picked you out--but it, I suspect, is some kind of power trip. This person hopes that his/her words will be powerful enough to chase people away. It's nothing more than a stupid game, so I'm glad you're not playing it.

Hi Naty - and please, PLEASE don't be bullied by this despicable person. He/she is obviously just a racist - and as far as I'm concerned, racists are one of the lowest forms of life, and I despise them. People are people - whatever their colour/religion/sexuality or nationality, and no one should be hounded out or bullied because they come from a different country or culture from somebody else. So just stand your ground girl - and be sure that all decent, myLotters are behind you and supporting you.

I don't know why the discrimination is so blatant, but I would think that myLot should be able to track this person down. I assume that Live journal is a mylot function.

this astonishes me any time I hear of such behavior I am astonished beyond words. it kind of hits in the pit of the stomach. the vile hatred, there is no making sense of it - because it is nonsense. I am just sorry that it is being done at the expense of a kind and gentle person. maybe it makes them feel powerful where they lack all power otherwise?? I guess we should not try to figure out such things lest it poisons us to the same disposition.

Please don't don't mind them. You must think that you are also Human Being as they are. So they might be teasing you and just using that awful words to challenge you. I am a filipino and very proud to be. I do have flat and big nose not so much. i am very poor and new in here but i felt people in here are real good. Who that person was, he/she might have some reasons behind and if you can please widen your understanding. the person that done this is truly a coward, they resorted to the internet to get their discrimination across to a person. people that resort to discriminating others have no respect for people and no respect for themselves, it is a shame that they choose to live as a person who hates other people based on where they was born, how they talk and what they look like.
