What gives some 16 year old kid the idea that she knows more about life than an adult with kids. She actually said that she knew more about life because, get this, she reads the bible, and she knows more than anyone who is atheist. She actually said that the earth is only 4000 years old. Gods. Get your stupid kids educated!

What always kills me is the assumption that just because someone is an Atheist (or any other religion that doesn't deify Christ) they've never read the bible. I'm not Atheist, nor do I follow any of the Christian faiths. But I've read the bible. Cover to cover. Multiple versions of it (including the book of Mormon).

Yeah, me too, and the quran, and most of the older Jewish books that have been translated into English. What gets me is that she is only a teenager, and thinks she knows more about life than most adults, stupid fool

Why are you so angry? I've noticed that people who have nothing to believe in usually are. That is so sad. That young woman has chosen the wiser path in life and if you can't be happy for her, leave her alone. If you don't want her to care about you and where you are going, then let her go her own way. Christians are only beggers telling other beggers where to find bread. We acknowledge our sinful state and have found forgiveness. You are certainly free to live your life your own way. What you do doesn't affect me at all except to make me sad. You certainly can tell us to go to hell, but we can't go even if we wanted to and who would?? I actually feel sorry for you in your arrogance but that is the way you have chosen. Best wishes to you, I just hope you can at least try to be happy. After all you have chosen to believe in nothing except yourself so you should make you happy. Knowing the Lord Jesus makes me very happy and full of joy. In fact I'm ecstatic about life, especially the one I shall enjoy afterwards.

Hi! I've been working so couldn't respond. I don't have any RIGHT to say you're angry, it's just the "tone" of your writing. You seem very angry or upset that a young girl would have wisdom. Sometimes children do have wisdom that adults once had but have let the pressures of the world push aside. You know the old saying: "out of the mouths of babes". But, I'm more concerned with you. If you only believe in what you can see, perhaps you feel that there is no hope. I certainly would in that case. There is more to life that what we know with our 5 senses. But that's up to you. I just would hope that you find joy in life. There is so much for which to be thankful that each day should be met with excitement, or at least hope that it will be a good day. I obviously don't know anything about you other than you have no beliefs so that is sad. But, perhaps if you can just ignore that young lady, all will be well. After all, she has the right to talk but you have the right not to listen. I enjoy hearing from you. I hope you will contact me again. Best wishes! By the way, everyone judges, otherwise we wouldn't make good decisions. That scripture from the fairy tale book means not to make the wrong judgment of someone's heart. Only God can judge the heart. No one knows what's in the heart except God.

WHAT??? just because I don't believe in some stupid excuse for a god, you think I'm depressed. and about that girl, she is not smart, she actually thinks the world is only 4000 years old. I find any adult who believes in god and not evolution and science the same as a 10 year old who believes in Santa, a little sad. i suggest you get off your high horse and get educated.

For starters, what gives YOU the right to say I'm angry . I was just shocked that she thinks she knows more than an adult, old enough to be her parent, and that she thinks she has the right to tell me how to live! I don't need some uneducated kid telling me that my beliefs are wrong, especially when she has the gall to bald facedly state that SHE knows I'm wrong and the world is only 4000 years old because her preacher told her so. Her preacher needs to be educated and apparently so do you. And as for your response, Judge not, lest ye be judged and found wanting, because you8 have been.

God bless you! This kid must care a lot about you to want to tell you about a loving Father Who stands with His Arms outstretched to welcome you home! That takes love and courage. We do not know when the earth was created but man has probably been here about 6000 years more or less. And the Bible is Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. It is the manual for living especially when you know the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, God in the flesh. And there are no atheists because you obviously believe in yourself or in the evolution fairy tale. Mankind is not evolving, we are devolving along with the planet. Everything has a beginning and an end, except God. I am proud of that young lady. Just remember someone is praying and caring for you. What a blessing.

What a crock! The bible is nothingmore than a method of keeping peoplein line with thechurch leaders. rulea asnd regulations. very little in it is true, its just a bunch of old wives tales set down as a way to explain things the stupid people knew nothing about. I really feel sorry for people like you who refuse to get an education .

And by the way, its insulting to tell an atheist that you are going to pray for them, even more so than an atheist telling Christians to go to hell. There is no god, anything that wasalive that long, would be certifiably insane.
