How often do you clean out your kitchen cabinets?

Six months ago, I went on a cleaning binge and dejunked my kitchen cabinets and finally got them organized. And, I went as far as getting those cute little storage containers for all my stuff. And, since noone uses the cabinets except for me, they stayed organized for a very long time.
But, then the day rolled around when my spouse needed some neat storage containers for a project he was working on and raided my kitchen cabinets to get mine! Needless to say, my cabinets ended up a royal mess! And, now it's time to get them organized again. For the most part, I use everything in my cabinets, but now I'm lacking proper storage units for all the little odds and ends of daily life. As you can probably tell, I use my kitchen cabinets for more than just dishes. They are an essential part of my life.
So, how often do you clean out or organize your kitchen cabinets? Do you have suggestions for unique or cheap ways to organize cabinets? What types of storage containers do you use to organize your cabinets or space?

ha..ha..ha..good question for man. One time in a month because I'm always on myLot and for sure busy with my friends here.
My friends make me less time for that cleaning.

That's too funny about My Lot keeping you from cleaning. Cause ironically, it does the same thing for me. The other day when my broadband connection went out, I cleaned my house from top to bottom for two days. My house has never looked cleaner. Since my connection came back online, my house has slowly started looking like it did before. Oh, well! We enjoyed a very clean house while we could.

I only have dishes in my kitchen cabinets. Well, I have spices and medication in one, too, but that's it.
Honestly, I only clean out the dishes cabinets when we move. As an adult I've never lived in the same house for more than 2 years, though. I go through the cabinet that has medicine in it, about every six months, to make sure we don't have anything that is expired. Also that way I can see if there is anything that we need to buy more of. Same thing with the spices.
I don't use any storage containers to keep my cabinets organized, so I don't have any ideas for you on that one, sorry!

That's OK! For some reason my kitchen cabinets got turned into storage units early on. Not sure why. I think it's cause I was seven months pregnant when we moved into our home and my husband was the one to unpack everything and put things up. He put most of the stuff up in the kitchen cabinet and for some reason I think I haven't found other places to put them. Thinking about it now, it may be time to unpack the kitchen cabinets! They do not serve well as storage space.

OMG-- not nearly as often as I should- I have had new paper lining for the cupboards for at least 6 months- and I have not found the time to take the stuff out and put new liners down and organize- I also got a new set of pans from my parents for Christmas- and they still sit in the box- I need to spend some time out there but just cleaning on the weekends takes up alot of time - I only use my cabinets for dishes- so I don't put containers or anything like that in them- sorry!

That sounds just like me! I'm so busy with ordinary mom stuff and My Lot that I don't devote as much time as I should to reorganizing. Reorganizing is a real bear and takes so much time. And, it's so hot here in the house since our kitchen air conditioner went out. It's almost impossible to work in the kitchen while the sun is still up! Could explain why I have so much mess up there.

I often clean it when I am free, especially on weekends. but I don't do it, it is a hard work.
Now I have no job in real life, and I'm finding a new one, so I have more free time, but i pay more attention to making money online, if I can earn $200 per month, I dont' need to find a new job.
Do you like clean it ?
