Do you just have one cat. I find that good exercise for a cat is another cat. I have three young cats and they are always chasing each other around. I also have one of those sticks with the feather and bell on it. They just love trying to get that thing. They jump around like crazy.

Right now another cat is not an option, as I said above I would love another one, but I cant right now.
I may have to try that feather thing... thanks

Most cats seem to enjoy string, yarn, and shoelaces. Just dangle it and see if she will chase or jump after it. Be sure the material is animal-safe, though.

I tried that, she loses intrest very quickly. I had a laser thing once and that worked, but I cant find it and cant afford a new one right now.

Yeah my Tom was getting pretty hefty there for awhile and I couldn't get him to do much of anything. Finally I got a kitten that would not leave him alone, and now he is frisky again and starting to lose weight by playing with her. I know you don't want another cat, LOL. What I am suggesting is finding something that gets her attention and be consistent with it, like everyday. I think that is the trick.

I would love to get another cat for her, but right now I live with my parents and they hate cats, so I'm lucky I have this one. I know having a friend will help her and once I can find work and get my own place I will be getting another one.

I have 3 cats and they all have different level of wanting to play with me. The one who play the most is the youngest of my 3 cats (3 years old). He loves to play with a ball and love me to throw the ball at him. he always bring it back, like a dog lol

I tried to do that, but my little sisters chihuahua wanted to play instead, so now my cat wont play ball with me at all.
She's white and Grey.
