Any thoughts on laser hair removal?

I'm having my bikini area treated next Sunday and wondered if anyone wanted to share their experiences. This will be my first time, and I'm a little nervous about it.

The only thing I really see as a drawback with LHR, is that you have to avoid all sun exposure to that area for the duration of the treatment (and I believe a period and wait until the tan fades from the area BEFORE you undergo treatment) -- not a tall order for bikini hair removal, unless you frequent tanning beds, but it could be if you were getting hair removed from your facial area.

I avoid sun exposure anyway, so I'm covered. I don't tan. I just burn.
